Cinnamon Sugar Buttered Toast Cookies 🤎
A thick, soft bakery-style cookie inspired by warm, buttery cinnamon sugar toast!
The cookie dough is made with browned butter, dark brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla for a rich, warm flavor throughout. Each cookie is coated in cinnamon sugar before baking, then brushed with a sweet melted butter mixture while still warm and finished with another layer of cinnamon sugar.
They're buttery, cinnamon-y, soft in the center and packed with that nostalgic cinnamon toast flavor.
This recipe also includes a few different shaping options so you can make traditional thick cookies, flatter bakery-style cookies, or bake them in silicone molds.
